I did it. 20 miles in Palo Pinto, TX with a few killer hills right at the start. I was feeling great up to my 10th mile. At 12 miles, my hip made sure to tell me that it was going to do its damnedest to keep me from finishing. After 2 "pit stops" and socks full of burrs later, I managed to finish the 20 miles in 5 hrs. and 15 mins. I had to walk the last 4 miles, though. I was hurting. I was the last one in, as usual, but I finished. God, please help me push through those last 6.2 miles! Coach told me to lay off running next week until Saturday b/c of my hip. We're now officially in "taper mode". I am a ball-o-nerves.
